Incredibly delicious food, great atmosphere and of course tasty beer!

Fässla red till death! Always worth a visit. Great beer and a cozy backyard invite you to linger. Since the backyard is partly covered, you can sit outside here even in bad weather.

The beer tastes just great, the food was great. Unfortunately there is no beverage trade in Cologne / Bonn that sells your beer. I would buy a box more often ?

Nice, cozy brewery restaurant with plenty of space, even for larger groups. The menu is limited, but the dishes are excellent. The waiting time was reasonable, the service friendly, but it would have been a bit more busy, but always tried to bring our orders quickly. The beer is very tasty and drinkable and just flows in. We would love to come back!

Went just for drinks which was nice. It was very lively with a great atmosphere. Lots of locals drinking there which is great to see. We tried a few different beers and they were all good. I think it was only a choice of three different beers that they produce themselves. They have a good amount of seating inside and some outside. Service was good and the waitresses were all friendly. I would go again.

Unfortunately it was not possible for us today to move into our booked room. Despite a valid certificate, we were denied entry to the hotel without a mask. The fact that we were then recommended to call the police knocked the bottom out of the barrel. With Mr. Kalb, I had to get to know an employee who couldn't be beaten in terms of unfriendliness. I expressly reserve the right to take further legal steps against the hotel and employees!

Vespers was plentiful and good. We still packed a lot and devoured it the next day on the trip to Berlin. The Viertele Frankenwein was cheap and good too. Service competent, quick and friendly.

Unfortunately, this location didn't convince me. An unfriendly boss who even refused to serve us drinks, coupled with a loud and uncomfortable atmosphere, made the evening by far the worst during my stay in Bamberg. Absolutely not recommendable. Anyone who has been here won't come a second time ... stay away and enjoy a nice evening somewhere else. Comment from the “boss”: We don't need something like you. Elevated, snooty, cheeky. So better to visit one of the other great cellars!

The worst food I've had meat was cold sauce was like water and the sauerkraut tasted like nothing Beer against that is okay

We were probably on a Saturday evening, where there was a party or just too many people were there. There were still a few free places in one of the rooms (entrance on the left). Unfortunately, it took almost 1.5 hours from ordering to delivery. In between, when we asked, they asked us what we had ordered. I suspect it went down. The drinks also took a long time to come. The service was nonetheless friendly and the schnitzel with the beer sauce was very, very tasty and plentiful. Price-performance ratio was good. Good, quaint ambience.

Great brewery in the heart of Bamberg! The beer tastes sensational, the food is very tasty and generously portioned, the wait staff is always friendly and very attentive, we felt very comfortable here!

Typical brewery in Bamberg - lots of regulars' tables but a really rustic atmosphere. The beer was very tasty. A little away from the old town but it's worth the walk.

Anyone visiting Bamberg must stop here too. The dining room is typically retro furnished. The dishes go well with it. Anyone who is here must definitely drink a "Zwergla". It's not small at half a liter, but it tastes great. The old tin sign in the guest room is also funny: "Who drinks beer helps agriculture"

Good bier and food

Usually not even worth the one star! Even in a hostel you will be welcomed nicer! The room, for 70 € was a cheek! The TV wall bracket was bigger than the TV itself (even my 24 inch PC monitor is bigger). Moldy shower !!! The bed was worn out and the bed linen was probably 10 years old (felt like it). Breakfast, despite Corona an outrage! Rubber buns and nothing fresh !!! Cold eggs, as they were stored in a simple bast basket without insulation. It was frightening that fitters had to dine in the old dining room while tourists were allowed to guest in the new dining room! In my opinion, this location should get -5 stars, because nothing is customizable here! (That is my feeling). Since I am often away for work, I really have to say that even an IBIS budget hotel, with 10 € less, offers a much higher standard! No recommendation from me! If you have the opportunity, pay less or a few € more and you will definitely feel more comfortable! And the Oberhammer "Sky Receiver that is not active!" More seem than to be!

We were now for the 8th time in Fässla. And always think it's great. A unique combination of a rustic inn with good Franconian cuisine, its own brewery, hotel, tavern, standing beer and outdoor spaces in the backyard, and an adjoining room for watching football. Certainly nothing for fine spirits, but if you want to experience something authentic, you cannot avoid the Fässla. We will also go a 9th time.

What makes this restaurant brewery stand out is the opening hours - from 8.30 in the morning (and from 8.00 on Sundays !!!) one can enjoy local beer - it probably won't happen anywhere here. Gold Pils is their best beer which is standard on tap, but their doppelbock Bambergator (the strongest beer brewed in Bamberg) is also great.

Good lunch plates and the schnitzel was nice and crispy. The beer is freshly tapped on the table and has a full-bodied taste. Despite bad weather and rain, you could sit outside in the beer garden under a glass roof. The waitresses were friendly.

Good beers, good home-style food and friendly people. What more do you need! ?

I was visiting the Fassla brewery as a tourist and student. This company is a piece of history of the city and has the characteristic of having the brewery, the gasthaus beer house where to eat and drink and even the bier Hotel available to tourists! There is practically the possibility of never going out and drinking beer from morning to evening;) The brewery is very nice and clean, produces the famous beers every day which are then tapped in the gasthaus and brought to the whole region

The kitchen close at 21:00, the beers are self service. You can’t paid with card. They accept only cash. The food was good, but nothing special.

Worst service ever..

A famous brewery in Bamberg. The beer tastes very good and you can get traditional german foods. Lot of visitors at weekends. It very crowded and that shows that the Beer is extraordinary. After a good food and beer just 500 meter walk to the city centre. Unfortunately they dont provide you Beer to take away on weekends, because of many guests on these days. I reccomend you to try the pils beer from here and schäufele, which is a typical food from the byerische Franken. Enjoy!!
